Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone. We thought we would share some pictures with you while we wait for the trick or treaters.

Starting with our pumpkins. Twin A is to the right and twin B to the left. My sister(twin A) always has a creepier pumpkin than me.

And then there's our dad's pumpkin. That's all we have to say.

Now its time for our costumes. We are hippies this year, our dad even dressed up with us.

Well I think I hear trick or treaters, hope you have a happy Halloween.

Michigan Part 2 (High Five for Friday)

Today we decided to make High Five for Friday into part 2 of  Michigan. Which is all about the food we had in Michigan.

1) First is the amazing soup we had at a WholeFoods in Ann Arbor on our way to Grand Rapids..
It was the Latin Chicken soup.

2) This was the  BLT  from Marie Catrib's , which is our new favorite restaurant. We even joked that we would have to fly to Michigan just to have lunch at Marie Catrib's .By the way they are
gluten and allergy friendly.

3) This was Marie Catrib's ham sandwich with caramelized apples and onions. Yum O! Their food is so
good it took an hour to just get a table.

4) A delicious Quinoa salad from Speak Z lounge.

5) This is a chicken and fruit salad with caramelized walnuts from Speak Z lounge. Both of the salads
where from their allergy friendly menu. We do recommend if you are not a bar person like us that you go
during the day at lunch hours or take it to go.

That was our journey of eating allergy friendly as we travel. Which, I think we proved, you can do.
If you know of any allergy friendly restaurants that you have been
to  please leave a comment we would love to hear about it.

Michigan Part 1

This past week we were in Michigan, and we have so much to share with you about our trip. Starting with
the beautiful fall weather they have in Michigan. Being California girls we where not use to the cold, but oh was it beautiful. Their trees were the most beautiful yellows, oranges and greens giving
you the feeling of fall and a desire for something pumpkin.

We also love fall because of the fashion. We finally got to wear boots, sweaters, jackets and hats. So here are some of our fashion from the week.

Keep watch for part 2 of our trip to Michigan were we will share
with you some of the amazing food we found on our journey of eating allergy free while traveling.

Today we want to share with you some things we have found on our favorite site, Pinterest. We got this idea from the Classy Living blog and loved it. So we hope you enjoy our finds as much as we do.

We loved this scarf so much that we had to try to make it, and it came out just as beautiful. Sorry we don't have a picture of the one we made.

Project Style

We have been really busy , which has pushed the blog to the bottom of the list. But I plan to get better at blogging. So I hope to do more then one post this week, sharing with you what we have been up to.
Starting with Project Style. Project Style is a fashion contest at our local mall that my sister (Twin A) was in this Saturday, hoping  to win a $1,000 shopping spree and a chance for a trip to NY fashion week. Though I'm sad to say she didn't win, I am very proud of her. My sister was truly a winner to me by the way she held herself on stage. She walked with confidence, though everyone was worried she would be nervous  on stage. And  my sister was the only one of the contestants to clap for the winner April. She is truly a beautiful person inside and out. I also want to thank all the family and friends who came out to support  her.
Here are 4 of our cousins cheering her on.

Here she is shining her light on stage. =D

My sister was excited to meet fashion designer Nick Verreos. He was great and gave my sister great advise for going into the fashion world. She really enjoyed the whole experience.
